HACKS- Bonus 1

**Freeze Bread- Can freeze bread. Take out what you want to eat and let thaw a few minutes. To warm it you can toast it, or microwave it 15sec-it will be very hot. Remember anything microwaved needs to rest 20 min. Bread will be soft.

**Microgreens-Can be grown in a small amount of soil or just on pads w/ water. Once the greens are up to 2-3 leaves, cut them off for salads, stews... They have more nutrition than full grown plants. Can be grown when no garden plot is available to offer fresh foods.

**Sprouts. Seeds that are sprouted in a jar that are washed 2 x day until they spout. Check out sites to show the whole procedure-very simple. There ae so many options for the seeds to use. Takes up little counter space and gives again power-packed foods for salads and other methods of cooking, add to sandwiches even.

**Herbs- Store bought or home grown bunches can be extended fresh by placing a in jar w/ water in it-cut off the closed ends- and put in the jar and cover w/ a plastic or silicone bag and put in the frig. It will give you time to use more of them befoe they go bad and save your $$.

**Glare- Blue Blocker Glasses will decrease the car lights glare at night and are supposed to help make using a computer for long hours less straining on the eyes.
