**Container Sealers- Check out the bee's wax cloths used to seal your pot or food containers. The warmth of your hand allows it to seal to the pan. You can also make them yourself, look for instructions on the web. It is better than plastic wrap or aluminum foil- both of which are not healthy nor good for the planet as they end up in the landfills. Some of the bee wraps can be composted. **Walking Steep Grades - Most ppl attempt to walk down a steep grade such as a hill at an angle and many times they end up going too fast, fall and roll. It can be a fall that causes bruise or breaks bones or worse. Suggest walking down the hill as you normally would facing the direction you are going and as you walk you push your heel into the ground to act as a step and it will slow you down. A ski pole or hiking pole is alos a good idea for walking through undulating grounds.
**Sharpen knives- If you don't have a knife sharpener handy but do have a glazed coffee cup, you can turn it over and usually there is an unglazed ring around the bottom. Pull the knife across it several times and it is supposed to sharpen the blade. Probably not as well as a real sharpener might but might help in a pinch. Remember a dull knife is dangerous and the cause of many ER visits as ppl push hard on the dull knife and if it slips vs cutting the food, the hand usually gets cut. Be safe.
