NJ’s recent healing lessons
Hello, again. Since I’ve been listening more to my body to understand why I’m having to go through these experiences, I thought I would share a couple of “AHAs!!” with you. Regarding my hip, it taught me that I don’t have to do everything by myself and that it’s okay to ask for help. Not only to ask, but to accept and receive help, even unexpected kindnesses from total strangers. What my shoulder has taught me is that, even though I’m single and have lived alone “forever,” I don’t have to carry the weight of the world on my shoulders. The world will get along just fine without my help and intervention. I need to stop saying that, “If I don’t do it, it won’t get done.” The time is right for me to take care of myself. Thanks again for all your support. It’s a new experience for me and I don’t take it for granted.
