Healing Pool

My youngest son Paul is visiting from Portland, OR until Thursday. He and his partner Sofia have a wonderful cat named “Chicken.” Sofia took her to the emergency vet tonight as Chicken was clearly not feeling well. Tests revealed she has a large tumor in a kidney that has spread and she is terminal. Chicken is home now with Sofia and their two other amazing housemates that also love the kitty. The pain meds are working and Paul and Sofia are preparing for what is to come. Please send love and light to all involved. Paul is very empathetic and knew Jonee, having spent lots of good time with her. As you can imagine, we’ve been talking a lot about grief tonight.
