** White Vinegar can be used to wash fruits and vegetables from the store to remove any residue of pesticides and other chemicals that might be on them.

**Freeze a cup of water in the freezer and place a coin on top of the frozen water in the freezer. This is for timesyou are gone from home for extended periods and do not know if the electricity stayed on and the frige/freezer was active the whole time. If not and the water melts from prolonged outages, the coin is now at the bottom of the cup and when you etun can see the food was left unfrozen for an extended time and may not be safe to eat even if everything is now frozen again as the cup tells you the food is at risk.

**Citrus fruit peels can be dehydrated and made into a powder with a food processor or other gadget. You now have pure citrus to add to ecipes. Just remember to make sure the pith, white part, has been removed as it is botter.

**Fresh herbs can be exteneed in use by chopping up and placing in the ice cube trays and fill w/ olive oil or another oil of choice, freeze and when frozen can be removed to a freezer bag, kept in the freezer and used for soups and stews.
