HACKS- OTHER 2

**Butter- To soften refrigerated butter that is hard, warm a glass w/ hot water or in the microwave and cover the butter for a few minutes. It should soften the butter making it easy to cut and spread.

**Produce Bags-Avoid the flimsy plastic produce bags in the grocery stores. They tear and go into the garbage after use most times. Buy the mesh produce bags, reuse and they are washable if needed. (AMAZON)

**Left OverJam- Make salad dressing on the final bits left in the jar. 1 part vinegar, 3 parts oil to jar. Shake up to mix and store in frig. Then when empty, clean any glass jar and reuse it.

**Glass cleaner- 1/2 cup Vinegar, 1/2 cup Alcohol, 1Tsp Cornstarch, 10 drops Essential Oil of choice. Load into a spray bottle and use. To find any missed areas go in 1 direction on 1 side of glass and the opposite on the other side so you can tell which side has an issue. Newspaper can be used to wipe the glass down or a microfiber towel won't leave streaks or lint.

**Alien Tape-Has small grippers on both sides but not sticky like tape. It will grip on the warmth of your hand. then attach the item to hold and it should hold well. Easy to remove and re-use. It will not harm any surfaces. (QVC)

**Carpet divets-Furniture pressure makes dips in carpets. Can eleminate them w/ an ice cube on it and then use a brush to comb it up like the rest of the carpet.
