Bisbee Retreat - October 2022

How is everyone doing?

I feel like I've been pushed into a classroom, forced to take a look at some things.

Maybe it's no secret that I'm a bit of a driven person. I like to be doing things. I like to "work" on things. I like to get out and explore, to always be on the go. I remember being very young, crying and yelling at my mom when she would suggest I take a nap. How can you be so mean?? I remember thinking - or perhaps I said it out loud? I think she got me and would reframe it as "reading time." That worked.

So now I'm turning my body into a full-fledged COVID-virus fighting machine (how's that for reframing testing COVID positive?) and man, the experience is more protracted than Thea thought it would be...needed to be...should be.

I'm not feeling terrible. I'm just not…

Here is the place you can share your Bisbee Retreat experiences if you care to! My thoughts and feelings are still getting sorted out, something that has been slowed by the positive COVID test result I had yesterday. I'm feeling better all the time and remain so grateful for all the connections and experiences shared with everyone at the retreat.

And a sure fine sign that things went well in my mind is that I'm already thinking about the next one...

More from me soon - for now, my fluffy blue couch is beckoning to me to lay down on it and read and watch some TV!

First, let me say that for those of you who wanted to come to the Bisbee Retreat but can't make it, we will have future in-person gatherings!

But, if you are thinking of attending and haven't let us know, NOW IS THE TIME! We have a few hotel rooms that are being held for our group at the Copper Queen until the end of Sept.
