Remember there are two distinct types of astrology used, Western, which is what I use, and Vedic or Eastern astrology, which I know little about. Here is the Vedic prediction for February written by Joni Paltry.

February 2024 Spiritual Insights

There is a serious tone this month as many planets sit in Capricorn ruled by Saturn. Capricorn rules business and Saturn rules hard work.

Most importantly, Mars is in Capricorn, which is its exaltation sign – meaning Capricorn is its best, most powerful sign. Capricorn and Saturn both rule government, signifying progress and change will be made in this area.

Extreme Political Upsets

The New Moon on February 9 is in Capricorn with Mercury and exalted Mars. While the New Moon sits in the nakshatra Dhanishta (ruled by Mars), Mars sits in the nakshatra Utara Ashadha (ruled by the Sun). Their nakshatras are in exchange of signs, which connects and empowers their energy.

Expect an extreme political fight and major upsets with politics and leaders. Everything that has been happening will begin to make sense. An understanding will sweep in if you are open to understanding the reality behind all the chaos that has not been adding up. Many people cannot handle the truth because it will destroy their lifelong beliefs. The anxiety and shock may be too much for some to handle.

The Wake Up

A great awakening is coming with the Jupiter and Uranus conjunction in April. This will shatter many people’s beliefs and will infuriate those who refuse to believe the truth. The anger will grow and cause the oncoming civil war in the U.S. and the world war of misinformation, which will feel like the war on good and evil globally.

On a personal level, now is the time to organize, fix, and look where we can be responsible and make necessary changes that we have been postponing. We must now consider where we can take responsibility to change our lives.

Saturn Brings Order

Saturn is the taskmaster and predominates the astrological energy the entire month of February. All the planets point to Saturn as it is the final dispositor of all the planets right now. 

We all need to be aware of what is ahead for the world as the sway of balance is coming. Everything on Earth has been out of balance and the sense of responsibility has been ignored for way too long. Nothing seems to make sense, as many people are confused – with good reason. The world powers have intentionally created a world of chaos so they can swoop in at some point to pretend to save us, which will then insert control on the world.

For example, the prices of everything are continually increasing as the work salaries are not. This is the determining factor of the economy. Nothing makes sense! The media tells us one thing, while the reality of life reveals the opposite. You can’t help but wonder what is going on. It seems everything has now become political, and this is continuing a major split in the world. We all know something big is coming.

Saturn is the planet that will try to bring order to the world. This month, there will be events that open many to the reality and truth of what has been occurring. Realize just how much we need Saturn’s influence over the world now as it rules order, discipline, responsibility, structure, and karma. Saturn gives the karmic results that a person deserves by his actions. It is just and fair, so remember you will get your just deserves with Saturn this month. This accounts for everyone, including governments around the world and their leaders.

Astrologically, all planets point to Saturn. Jupiter in Aries is ruled by Mars; Mars, while in Capricorn, is ruled by Saturn; and Saturn in Aquarius is ruled by Saturn. Venus, Mercury, and the Sun, while in Capricorn and Aquarius, are ruled by Saturn. In other words, this time is completely controlled by Saturn.

Saturn is in the sign Aquarius and in the nakshatra Shatabishak – which is a very intense nakshatra that is ruled by Rahu. This nakshatra is said to be the thousand healers, indicating a great healing and progress in the medical fields because it is also said to rule hard to cure diseases. I believe this indicates they are major cures to diseases. My thoughts are that there will be great strides on mental disease, addictions, and cancer.

On another note, this nakshatra is said to be the sky watcher and rules everything concerning outer space, the stars, planets, space travel, astronomy, astrology, and aliens. There has been so much progress pertaining to the truth of alien life. More and more, this reality will be known. The more discord and social uprising and confusion that takes place on Earth, the more the aliens will reveal themselves to try to extinguish the possible use of nuclear energy being used. This is what they have been trying to stop because it disrupts the entire Universe.

This is the awakening which has been occurring for a while, but things will begin to heat up as more people begin to realize how they have been falsely persuaded.

Listening to the Inner Knowing

It is a time when we must pray for and ask that our minds be clear. We must listen to the inner knowing that is within us all.

You are connected through your heart and soul to the Divine. When you take your quiet time to connect to your higher knowing, your world will begin to make sense. Know that everything will work out in accordance to the laws of karma. This means the law of cause and effect. Since Saturn is all powerful now, we will see the law of karma in full effect.

The truth will prevail even though some may deny the truth. This is because Saturn is prevailing and exerting the law of cause and effect (karma) now. A healing can only occur when people admit to their wrongdoing. The problem is no one wants to admit they are wrong, but in so doing, a healing and transformation will occur. Don’t consume yourself with others’ wrongdoing; only look after what you have control over – yourself.

Now is the time to do a brief inventory of yourself and ask where you have been focusing on negative energy. Are you judging others or in relentless judgement of circumstances or things around you? Stop focusing on others! You are the center of your Universe, and the outside world is a reflection to teach you more about yourself. How the outside world makes you feel is telling you things you can change within yourself.

When you come from a place of love and gratitude, then your world will change to reflect the beautiful feeling from within you. Remember, you are the one directing your own world and you can change it to whatever you want by changing your thoughts and feelings to the positive. The world is controlled through cause and effect (Saturn). Make your effect good, as the cause within you sees the positive and the light.

Now let's dive in the events of the first February days

February 01: The Moon enters Libra around 3 AM central time, where it is opposed Jupiter.

This brings harmony and feelings of love and affection. It is a time to bring balance and peace to relationships as Venus and Mars in the 3rd house from the Moon enhance our ability to communicate better. Mercury enters Capricorn today making us more serious and feeling more grounded in reality. The Moon is in the nakshatra Chitra till around 4pm where it moves into Swati. While in Chitra the ability to express ourselves with feeling will be easier. Swati is a powerful nakshatra for communications too but be aware people may use their words to manipulate others.

February 04: The Moon is in Scorpio the entire day and enters the nakshatra Jyestha around 8:30 PM CST

Watch how you word things as to not be too abrasive. This nakshatra points to jealousy so be cautious how you are with others and don’t take things personally as other’s jealousy is their issue and problem, not yours. This may be experienced through your work with coworkers or employees.
